Hector, a miniature bear

Hector is a little handmade artist teddy bear, an original one of a kind modflowers design. He is very thoughtful and dreamy in his ways, and is always there with a kind word or sympathetic hug when you need it.

Hector is made from a cappuccino-coloured light brown viscose fur fabric and he wears a black scarf trimmed with pompoms.

Howard has tiny black glass eyes and his nose and claws are hand embroidered with vintage thread. His style is influenced by my love of vintage bears. He has a long body, small ears, a tubby tummy and short legs.

His head, legs and arms are cotter pin jointed and may be gently moved, so he can sit or stand (with support) and turn his head. He will not, however, stand up to rough handling. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester filling and pleasingly weighted with tiny steel pellets.

A perfect little decorative companion, Hector will sit or stand (with something to lean against) on a shelf or mantelpiece, to keep you company - or to warm the heart of the one you love.

He measures approximately 17 cm (6.5 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
