Lionel, a casually dressed lion

Lionel is a modern lion, dressed in casual lion clothing. An original one of a kind modflowers design, he is hand made from a golden vintage bear fabric with limbs in a paler, short pile fabric. Lionel has tiny amber glass eyes and his nose and claws are hand embroidered with vintage thread. He has short legs, a long body with a tubby tummy, long arms, tiny ears and furry paw pads.

Lionel wears a stripy jumper with trousers which he has to have specially made by his tailor to accommodate his tail.

His head, legs and arms are cotter pin jointed and may be gently moved, so he can sit or stand and turn his head. He will not, however, stand up to rough handling. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets.

A perfect decorative companion, Lionel will sit or stand (with something to lean against) on a shelf or mantelpiece, to keep you company - or to warm the heart of the one you love.

Lionel measures approximately 17 cm (7 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
