The magical mushrooms are shy and elusive beings, denizens of faerie who live in the woodlands where humans rarely tread. When the cooler, damper weather comes they pop their heads above ground to sniff the air and survey the woodland, before disappearing back underground as if they had never existed.

These magical mushrooms are original modflowers creations, hand made from wire, thread, reclaimed polyester stuffing, vintage cotton fabric and scraps of reclaimed velour from a local Nottingham designer. They have glass eyes and needle sculpted features and are embellished with seed beads, sequins and paint. Each hangs from a vintage embroidery thread loop.

A perfect gift for lovers of fairytales or those fascinated by the faerie realm, the mini magical mushrooms look charming hung from a bough of the Christmas tree, adorning a vase of twigs or dangling from a hook on a shelf or wall, creating an enchanting and unusual decorative talking point wherever they hang out.

Each mini magical mushroom measures approximately 10 cm (4 inches) from the top of their heads to the tips of their stems (excluding thread roots) and their caps are around 3 - 4 cm (1.25 - 1.5 inches) in diameter.
