Parsnip is a little artist teddy bear, an original one of a kind modflowers design, all hand made from light brown mohair. Parsnip is so named because he has such a fascination with these winter vegetables that he wears his own personal parsnip around his neck on a cord.

Parsnip has tiny black glass eyes and his nose and mouth are hand embroidered with vintage thread. He has a small head, long arms and body and short legs.

Parsnip developed his love of winter vegetables (and parsnips in particular) whilst living on a farm in Lincolnshire. He liked to hang out in the barn with the vegetables so often that his name just became Parsnip - if he was ever named anything else, nobody remembers.

Parsnip wears a stripy scarf in addition to his parsnip and has black paw pads.

His head, legs and arms are cotter pin jointed and may be gently moved, so he can sit or stand and turn his head. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets.

A perfect little decorative companion, Parsnip makes a lovely talking point or decoration for a shelf or mantelpiece, to keep you company - or to warm the heart of the one you love (particularly if they are also a lover of root vegetables).

He measures approximately 13 cm (5 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.

modflowers designs are playful, but please note that they are decorations, not toys and as such are designed for display rather than play.

This item is individually made by hand from new, vintage and reclaimed materials and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age, due to small parts and delicate construction. Please keep away from moisture.
