Scooter, a small bear

Scooter is made from a strangely fuzzy yellow/orange vintage fabric, a gift from a fabric-collecting friend. An original one of a kind modflowers design, he has a long body, round head and short arms, about which he is rather self conscious. They do not hinder him in the hugs department, however.

He wears green knit fabric trousers with buttoned braces and a red cotton neckerchief.

Scooter has tiny amber glass eyes and his features are hand embroidered with vintage thread. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester cushion filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets to feel pleasantly weighty in the hand.

Scooter is a jaunty chap who likes to dance to 1960s music by waving his tiny arms up and down as if he is marching to a military band. He would love a home in which he is cherished just as he is, despite his appearance.

He measures 20 cm (approximately 8 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.

This item is individually made by hand from new, vintage and reclaimed materials and is not suitable for children under 14 years of age, due to small parts and delicate construction. Please keep away from moisture.
