Toby, a miniature bear
Toby is an original one of a kind modflowers design, hand made from brown viscose fur fabric.
Toby is a small bear who likes to think that he is an expert on teddy bear history. The letter "E" on his waistcoat refers to the name Edward, whom he believes was the very first teddy bear - and his ancestor. Of course, this is not really the case, but nobody wants to upset Toby by correcting him.
Toby has a long body and wears a waistcoat with tiny brass buttons, a neckerchief and brass pince-nez glasses. He has tiny black glass eyes, striped vintage cotton paw pads and his features are hand embroidered with vintage thread.
Her arms, legs and head are cotter pin jointed and may be moved gently so that he can turn his head, sit or stand, though he will need to be propped against something.
He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets.
Toby measures approximately 12.5 cm (5 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
modflowers creations are playful, but please note that they are decorations, not toys and and as such are designed for display rather than play.
