Griswald, a small artist bear

Griswald is a small artist teddy bear, an original one of a kind modflowers design, all hand made from vintage, grey mohair bear fabric, found in Sweden. Griswald has tiny black glass eyes and his nose and claws are hand embroidered with vintage thread. He has small ears and a long nose, with long limbs, which gives him an elegant appearance. He has hand sewn black paw pads on his feet, with a matching lining to his ears.

Griswald wears a removable neck ruff made from a vintage organza ribbon, hand-stitched with embroidery and beads.

His head, legs and arms are cotter pin jointed and may be moved gently, so he can sit or stand and turn his head, although he finds standing tricky unless he has something to lean against. He will not stand up to rough handling. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester cushion filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets.

A perfect little decorative companion, Griswald will sit on your desk, shelf or mantelpiece, to keep you company - or to warm the heart of the one you love.

He measures approximately 22 cm (8.75 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
