Huginn and Muninn were the names of Norse god Odin's two crow companions. They flew around the world bringing back knowledge. Muninn means "memory".

Muninn is sewn from a variety of reclaimed and vintage black fabrics, including linen, organdie and artificial silk. He has a carved wooden beak, glass bead eyes and wired legs, upon which he stands upright without additional support.

Crows are well known for their generosity in rewarding those they approve of with gifts. This particular bird carries a Victorian-style love token: a handmade real silk heart, embellished with embroidery in vintage threads, a gold silk ruffle and a handmade ribbon rose. This fabric heart dangles from a loop of silk-covered fine wire. Muninn will deliver this symbol of love on your behalf - or present his gift of love to you every day from wherever you decide to perch him.

Muninn measures approximately 17 cm (6.5 inches) tall and 18 cm (7 inches) from beak to tail.

modflowers creations are playful, but please note that they are decorations, not toys. As such they are designed for display, not play.
