Marmaduke, a long-nosed bear

Marmaduke is a miniature artist teddy bear, an original one of a kind modflowers design, all hand made from a furry cappuchino-coloured vintage viscose fur fabric. He has tiny black glass eyes and his nose and claws are hand embroidered with vintage thread. He has small ears, long arms and a long nose. His paw pads are brown cotton.

Marmaduke escaped from the circus as a youngster and now, in late middle age, is an affable chap who enjoys good company, a tankard or two of ale and brisk walks (preferably to the pub). He wears a red woollen neck scarf.

Marmaduke's head, legs and arms are cotter pin jointed and may be gently moved, so he can sit or stand and turn his head. He will not, however, stand up to rough handling. He is stuffed with reclaimed polyester filling and weighted with tiny steel pellets.

A perfect little decorative companion, he will sit or stand (with something to lean against) on a shelf or mantelpiece, to keep you company - or to warm the heart of the one you love.

Marmaduke measures approximately 19 cm (7.5 inches) from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.
